Practical Productivity Hacks For Work From Me
Maybe you have scrolled through and read many documents, a vlog about productivity hacks for work. This blog today, I will discuss the same topic, however, it will be based on my personal experience and lessons,so the ideas may be strange and sound crazy to some of you! If you have some ideas, please share with me. Let’s join me on the 2024 journey - a year of growth!
My first tip is Pomodoro Technique. Pomodoro is the Italian word for tomato. Of course I don’t name it after any cartoon character or has anything to do with fruit. In the late 1980s, The Pomodoro technique was a time management method developed by a university student.
It advises using a timer to break work into 25-minute intervals with 5-minute breaks between. Using that 5 minutes to get up and move, a short walk to the toilet or water tank will increase energy inside of you!
My second hack is about staying hydrated and lungful. Hydration linked directly to productivity, 3-4% drop in hydration can lead to a whopping 12% reduction in productivity! So make sure you have a big bottle or cup to get at least 2 liters per day. Moreover, people unconsciously reduce their breath when they have some serious task or being focused. This could lead to headache or tiredness. Fresh air can improve our ability to process information and make good decisions.
Last but not least, I will discuss humor, especially at work. In my opinion, humor is a stress buster and also a key to creative thinking. Humor allows everyone to come together, break through the tension barrier and relax. It also helps us see things in new ways and enhances creativity. With an upbeat environment, people are easier to brainstorming of new ideas and think outside of the box.
In conclusion, boosting productivity at work isn't just about pushing harder or putting in more hours. It's about working smarter by tapping into techniques that optimize your focus, energy levels, and overall well-being. These ideas may seem a bit strange at first but may help us unlock our full potential!
